Looking for outdoor adventure in Connecticut? The aptly-named Adventure Park at The Discovery Museum is right up your alley. Whether you’re on an outing with friends, family, or just looking for some solo adventure, there’s tons to do here. The Adventure Park has treetop fun courses for all fitness and skill levels (ages 5+), so don’t be intimidated! It isn’t necessary to be an experienced climber to have a good time at this epic adventure park in Connecticut.

The Adventure Park at The Discovery Museum is located in a beautiful five-acre wooded area in Bridgeport. Pretty much the entire park is literally located in the trees! You'll rarely find your feet on the ground here.

There are 180 platforms placed in the trees, where they are interconnected through a series of bridges, ladders, and zip lines.

The result is a collection of 13 trails that are essentially aerial obstacle courses you can pass through however you like. With 31 zip lines, there's plenty of options to soar through the forest like you're flying.

Trails are color coded by skill level, with the easiest trails being suitable for young children. The more highly rated trails require increased agility and arm strength to complete successfully.

Staff have a focus on safety. All participants undergo an instructional briefing. The locking carabiner system ensures that you are always attached to the safety line while on a course.

If you prefer to keep both feet on land, The Adventure Park also has three axe-throwing lanes!
