After the days of winter that can sometimes feel endless, most of us are pretty excited when spring rolls around. Spring in Connecticut is a great time, and many plan for spring and summer vacations at this time of year. 1. Riverfront Gem: Clinton
This riverfront home is a great getaway that's centrally located in Clinton and not far from beaches, shopping, hiking trails, and more. The two-bedroom home can host up to six guests and visitors remark on how clean and comfortable the place is.

2. Romantic Getaway at the Lake: East Haddam
Looking to enjoy a cozy weekend away with that special someone? This lakefront home looks incredibly romantic and can host up to two guests. It's right in between Hartford and the Mohegan Sun Casino, making it quite convenient if you're looking to enjoy area recreation.

3. Connecticut Chalet: Southington
For a luxury experience at a reasonable price, this Connecticut Chalet is perfect! It's tucked away on five wooded acres in peaceful Southington and it's right on a pond. There's a sunroom that provides panoramic views from floor-to-ceiling windows: what better place to enjoy a cup of morning coffee?
The three-bedroom home can host up to six guests. Note that this pond is just for looks and swimming and fishing are not allowed. You can book a stay at the property's Airbnb listing.
4. Cozy Cottage: Coventry
This historic cottage in Coventry is located near UConn and is right on Eagleville Lake. The great room here offers incredible views and there's even a loft bed you can reach via ladder. The lake is pretty shallow, so it's not suitable for motorized boating, but you can canoe and kayak here from the shared community boat launch.

6. Country Lake Oasis: Woodstock
If you're looking for a tranquil escape to peace and quiet, this home on a dead-end street is perfect. There's nothing quite like the rural beauty of Woodstock, and this waterfront home is a great place to enjoy it! With an outdoor fire pit, pier, and lakeside BBQs, there's lots of room for fun here.
