Transportation on a day trip can be a little bit of a hassle. Cars are convenient, don’t get us wrong, but it can be irritating having to deal with traffic and figuring out where things are in an unfamiliar city. Many cities lack decent public transportation, and even if there is a good subway or bus system, timing the schedule properly can be difficult. One solution to this problem is to opt for walking for the day. It’s better for the environment, easier on your wallet, and good for your health. When it comes to walkable cities in Connecticut, it doesn’t get much better than New Haven. Many of the city’s attractions are spread within a few blocks.
