Are you a fan of pickles? I must admit, I hate them myself, but I do know a number of people absolutely adore everything about them. If you consider yourself a connoisseur of pickles, we've got great news for you: there's now a Jacob's Pickles in Norwalk, CT. This spot has been a mainstay in New York City for over a decade, with locations in Brooklyn and the Upper West Side. The Norwalk location just opened up in The SoNo Collection and it's already proven to be just as delicious as the NYC branches. If you love pickles, this is the place to go, but it's also a great spot to pick up biscuits and other Southern classics. Check it out:
Jacob's Pickles has an indoor area, plus several outdoor seats if the weather is cooperative.
Inside, you'll find cozy, trendy decor and a slightly elevated atmosphere that's not too casual, but not too elegant.
Of course, there are pickles on the menu, just as you'd expect!
In addition to dill pickles, you can also enjoy dilly green beans, candy red beets, and sweet and spicy carrots.
You can even enjoy pickled eggs here!
Of course, there's plenty else to enjoy on the menu if you're like me and don't love pickles. The matzo ball soup is perfect for warming up on a cold day.
The macaroni and cheese here is legendary.
Besides pickles, Jacob's Pickles is best-known for its amazing Southern breakfasts that will make you feel like you crossed the Mason-Dixon line.
