Mikey's Place is more than just a whimsical playground, it's also a beautiful tribute. Dedicated to the memory of Michael "Mikey" Daversa, who passed away at a young age, this park embodies love, community, and of course, fun. After all, their motto is "a happy place for every face!" Check it out for yourself:
Even in the winter, Mikey's Place maintains its sense of joy and wonder.
The park entrance is welcoming, beckoning visitors of all ages to step aside. Adults can enjoy the picnic tables and swinging benches while the children discover their favorite parts of the playscape.
The two castle-like creations sit across a path from each other, keeping the younger kids separate from their older and more boisterous peers. Like two warring kingdoms, they each explore and enjoy every inch of the playscape, hoping to prove that their side of the playground is more fun. But the battle is never won, as most kids eventually begin a humorous game of running between the two. And who can blame them? They both look like so much fun!
Everyone can appreciate a scenic spot in a historic town. The wheelchair accessible playground is a reflection of the kindness and generosity that founded this spot in the first place. And with sunset views and a lush green, you'll never want to leave!
