Fairview Tree Farm is usually a quiet place in the rural hills of Shelton. It is known for being a picture perfect place to pick out a Christmas tree. However, every fall this Connecticut tree farm transforms into something completely different. The hayride that was once peaceful turns into a horrifying Halloween journey through the woods that will make you shudder with fear.
Legends of Fear is a long standing Halloween attraction in Connecticut. This is their 21st year of transforming the farm into a terrifying activity for those that embrace Halloween to its fullest.
The tractor and its hay lined trailer look innocent enough, but they will transport you into a frightening landscape.
The hayride travels through the fields and forest for 30 scream filled minutes. Who knows what or whom you may encounter.
There are things lurking in the shadows of every twist and turn of the fright filled journey.
The haunted hayride isn't the only thing going on at this farm. The Hallow is four additional haunted attractions that allow you to walk (or run if you need to) through other scary and spooky areas.
The Melonhead Revenge Trail is the first part of the Hallow. It is said that these cannibalistic beings have inhabited the woods at Fairview for quite some time. Explore their territory if you dare!
The Dark Harvest is another part of the Hallow. All kinds of creatures lurk on this farm. Are you brave enough to face them?
The third part of the Hallow is the Hemlock Manor Mortuary. Will Edward the mortician be able to add you to his collection or will you escape only as a witness to his knife techniques?
Pine Hills Parish is another interesting part of the Hallow. The demons and monsters are ready and waiting for you.
No matter what attraction you choose to navigate, Legends of Fear is certainly an epic and horrifying Halloween delight.
Not for the faint of heart, this Connecticut Halloween hayride and attraction is perfect for those who love the spooky, frightening, bone chilling part of Halloween.
You are going to want to pack some friends into a car and head out to Legends of Fear before it's too late! Beware - the last day to ride in 2017 is November 4th.
