In today’s world of constant change, it can sometimes feel like there’s a new restaurant, or one closing down, just about every week. From corporate takeovers to closures to buyouts, it seems like few restaurants manage to stay in business for decades, much less owned by the same family. One restaurant in Connecticut that bucks that trend is the beloved Consiglio’s. When it was founded by Italian immigrants in 1938, they probably didn’t imagine that their restaurant would still be in the same family two generations later!

For more information about Consiglio’s, check out the restaurant’s website or Facebook.
