When it comes to awe-inspiring towns and scenery, Colorado takes the cake... but have you ever seen a town that stops you dead in your tracks and makes you wonder whether this is real life or a dream? If you have experienced this, there is a good chance you have visited this hidden Colorado town, which looks like it could be straight out of a painting:
Hiding out amidst the unbelievable Sangre De Cristos is that of Westcliffe, Colorado; "A Magestically Beautiful Experience
Whether You Call It Home Or Come For A Visit!"
Incorporated in 1887, Westcliffe was once an important stop along the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad, and is now home to nearly 600 residents.
While one might assume that a town of 600 would not have much in terms of attractions, Westcliffe is the exact opposite with its many special events and festivals...
...easy access to some of the best outdoor recreation in the state...
...and an impressive collection of locally owned shops, boutiques, and restaurants.
(While the town itself is amazing, the pièce de résistance is the colorful Sangre de Cristo Range and other scenery surrounding this small mountain town.)
There are no words...
