Tucked away within Lake Pueblo State Park lies the fabulous Rock Canyon Swim Beach; the state park’s only swimmable area that features not only cool water, but a beautiful beach area as well! Situated next to the famous Lake Pueblo Dam, Rock Canyon Swim Beach features sun-blocking cottonwood trees, acres and acres of velvety soft sand (that is perfect for tanning and/or picnicking), and shallow water for light swimming and inner tubing. In addition to the swim beach, Lake Pueblo offers exciting camping opportunities, as well as stellar fishing, boating, hiking, and more!

Lake Pueblo State Park is located at 640 Pueblo Reservoir Rd in Pueblo and is open July 1st (due to construction) through Labor Day. Admission to the Rock Canyon Swim Beach is free (with park pass).
