Have you been to Barr Lake State Park in Colorado? It’s not far from Denver metro – it’s just north of the city in Brighton. This state park covers 2,715 acres and offers 12 miles of trails, including an 8.8-mile trail that goes all the way around the lake, plus incredible bird watching and recreational activities. It’s a great place to explore at any time of year, but on top of all of that, the park staff hosts a number of fantastic events in all seasons.
