The Lair Of Abraxas In Colorado Is A True Nerd Heaven

If you are a nerd at heart, you love finding places that cater to your geeky side, which – fortunately for Coloradans – can be found throughout the state. While we have several favorite comic book stores and specialty shops, there is one place in particular that caters to virtually all of our favorites, which is the one-of-a-kind Lair Of Abraxas:

Tucked away in the north Denver suburb of Westminster, the Lair Of Abraxas was named the "Best Geek Sanctuary" by Westword... and for a good reason!

Opened in 2016, the Lair Of Abraxas was established to give so-called nerds, geeks, and persons of all fandoms a fun and safe location to meet and play and has since grown into somewhat of an institution.

What can you expect to find at the Lair of Abraxas? For starters, there is a unique boutique that consists of games and accessories, plus costumes, make-up, and various collectibles.

While most shops end at - well, the shop - there is a lot more to love about the Lair Of Abraxas, as it also houses 400+ games that you can peruse through and play during your visit!

Do you want to know what makes a game night even more memorable?A refreshing beverage, of course, which the Lair also has on hand via its vast selection of tea, beer, and soft drinks.

In addition to all of the above, the Lair of Abraxas also offers hookahs, special events, and space for your next gathering.

The Lair of Abraxas is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m., Thursday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m.
