The Centennial State may just be home to some of the most unique churches in the country! From the beautiful and quaint Chapel on the Rock to the colorful and intricate Shambhala Mountain Center, there is a size, religion/denomination, and architectural preference for everyone, which includes this one Colorado church that is a little unconventional to say the least:

In addition to offering a place for Elevationists to gather, create, and grow, the Church educates on and encourages the use of marijuana, as they believe that an "individual’s spiritual journey, and search for meaning, is one of self-discovery that can be accelerated with ritual cannabis use."

While you must be a registered church member to attend the weekly "celebrations," the International Church of Cannabis does offer public hours every Thursday through Sunday from 1 pm to 3 pm.
