It’s the most wonderful time of the year and with it comes the most wonderful shopping events of the year! If you are looking for unique gifts, festive decor, and other one-of-a-kind items that you won’t find at a generic big-box store, check out these 10 holiday markets in Colorado where you’re sure to find incredible stuff:

1. Christkindl Market (Denver)
Located at Skyline Park at 16th and Arapahoe St., the 16th annual Christkindl Market runs November 18th through December 23rd and features an assortment of crafts, food, entertainment, and other authentic German goods.
2. Holiday Market at Durango Farmers Market (Durango)
What are you doing on December 10th? If you aren't stocking up on all of the festive goodies from the Holiday Market at the Durango Farmers Market, you better change your plans!
3. Georgetown Christmas Market (Georgetown)
One of the most beloved Christmas traditions in Colorado is that of the the Georgetown Christmas Market, which transports its guests back in time to when chestnuts roasted on an open fire, goods were handmade, and carolers walked the streets spreading Christmas cheer through song. (The 55th annual Georgetown Christmas Market begins November 28th.)
4. Winter Market at Boulder County Farmers Markets (Longmont)
If you thought the Boulder County Farmers Markets was great in the summer, wait until you visit this indoor winter market, which runs December 3rd & 4th and features fresh produce and baked goods, as well as an assortment of homemade gifts.
5. The Art Center’s AnnualHoliday Art & Craft Fair (Grand Junction)
The Western Slope's favorite spot for holiday arts and crafts is (you guessed it) the Art Center’s Annual
Holiday Art & Craft Fair, which runs this weekend (November 18th through 21st).
6. Horseshoe Holiday Market (Denver)
What better way to spend Small Business Saturday than by perusing the unique selection at the Horseshoe Holiday Market? (Psst... A little birdie told me they have clothing, jewelry, home goods, art, vinyl, and more!)
7. Minturn Winter Market (Minturn)
What the small town of Minturn lacks in size, it makes up for with its fabulous winter market, which runs December 3rd and 10th.
8. Holiday Art Mart at Foothills Art Center (Golden)
Running from November 11th through December 30th, the Holiday Art Mart at Foothills Art Center showcases more than 100 local artists and family-friendly activities each weekend in December.
9. Estes Park Holiday Market (Estes Park)
Another annual tradition taking place this weekend (November 19th & 20th) is the Estes Park Holiday Market, which boasts itself on having "many unique items and collectibles
for your shopping pleasure!"
10. Maker Fair Holiday Hoopla (Colorado Springs)
There is no better way to conclude this list than by mentioning the Maker Fair Holiday Hoopla with its take-and-make crafts, artisan goods, complimentary goodie bags, and other fun surprises! (The Maker Fair Holiday Hoopla runs December 9th & 10th.)
