Hiding out in Denver is the world famous Hammond's Candy Factory, and their motto says it best: "where sweet dreams come true!"
Established in 1920, Hammond's operates out of a massive 35,000-square-foot warehouse and is famous for not only their treats, but also for being one of the longest-operating candy stores in the state.
As if the candy store wasn't reasoning enough to visit, this Colorado legend also offers the unique opportunity to tour the factory for FREE and witness how this delicious candy is made.
If a candy is cracked or broken, it is set aside and given to visitors! Talk about sweet!
Hammond's Candy Factory is located at 5735 Washington Street in Denver and is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
