The Ozark Cafe is home to the "Excaliburger" -- a burger sandwiched between two grilled cheese buns, with the cafe's signature sauce and all the fixings. Served, of course, with a sword.
The Ozark Cafe also has a Southern buffet that will require a hearty appetite -- and stretchy pants.
(If you're curious, "Toe Jam" is an unappetizing-yet-intriguing acronym for the tangerines, oranges, and elderberry in this fruity preserve -- and it's quite delicious on homemade biscuits!)
And if you plan on visiting Jasper in December, you're in for a treat.
This small Arkansas town goes all out for the holidays, with a beautiful light display at the Historic Courthouse Square. (Is this a reindeer, or an elk, a la the Hilary Jones Museum?)
