Feel Like Family When You Dine At Taliano’s Historic House In Arkansas
You’re more than a customer eating at a restaurant here. At Taliano’s, you’re fed like family! This historic house holds one of Fort Smith’s oldest eateries. Not only do they offer plates of authentic Italian food, they pair their meals with a longstanding history (not to mention a nice glass of wine, too). Let’s sit down and enjoy this delicious neighborhood spot.

Sometimes that "special occasion" is just a Tuesday but regardless most families have already fallen in love with this longstanding Italian restaurant.

In 1970, childhood friends Tom Caldarera, Jr. and Jim Cadelli opened the first fully-fledged Italian restaurant in Fort Smith. Now the third and fourth generations of Caldarera and Cadelli assist with the daily operations. Taliano's is truly a family tradition!

The restaurant is housed in Jim and Nina Sparks' mansion built back in 1887. After the Taliano families restored the house in the 70s it was placed on the National Registry of Historical Places.

The stained glass, fireplaces, and woodwork are all what came with the house. And though they've been converted to electricity, all four chandeliers are the original gas fixtures that were installed when the house was built.

These family recipes are all authentic Italian dishes from the classic Spaghetti to more intricate Seafood Diavolo with Lobster. Stay with lighter fares like the Linguine Giardiniera or feast on an 8 oz. Filet Mignon San Marco. Taliano's also offers specials throughout the year!

Delicate creams, decadent chocolate, and sweet Spumoni ice cream are some of the flavors to expect for a final sweet note. Their tiramisu is the most requested dessert but we're fans of the white chocolate raspberry cake. You really can't go wrong with any selection here!
