There's no better place to spend a beautiful sunny day than at Orchards Park! The park is one more stop to make during your next Amazeum or Crystal Bridges excursion. This sprawling nature retreat has gardens, art, and walking trails that everyone can enjoy. Let's take a tranquil moment and enjoy the scenery at Orchards Park:
Northwest Arkansas is packed with picturesque parks but one underrated one worth noting is Orchards Park.
Orchards Park is right across from Bentonville's most popular attraction, Crystal Bridges. It's also adjacent to Memorial Park so it's easy to combine and conquer multiple stops on this adventure!
This passive park is anything but passé!
The 13-acre park is a premier passive park featuring multiple landscaped areas and walking paths. There's also a pavilion that's perfect for picnics!
The mix of natural and created art makes this park worth visiting.
From the street you'll notice the towering dandelion and butterfly sculpture. "Monarch and Dandelion" was created by Amanda Willshire in 2017. The butterfly was made from cogs and reflectors while the dandelions were created from bike rims.
There's also a gorgeous fountain with a surprise!
The fountain by itself is lovely but the surrounding rocks and landscaping are what create the wow factor. Pay attention when you get close to the pond - you'll see multiple turtles and spy some of the largest koi ever!
The seasonal gardens are another reason to plan a couple of trips.
The park may be small but it's brimming with beauty! The park is named in honor of Bentonville's history with apple orchards. Although the park doesn't have apples, it does have an impressive array of maple trees complete with a winding walking path. The park also has numerous spots filled with seasonal flowers.
Enjoy the moment and savor the simple beauty the next time you're at Orchards Park.
