Beaver Town Inn In Arkansas Has Been Around For Over 100 Years

Beaver Town Inn & Trading Post is a little gem to discover while taking a scenic drive north of Eureka Springs. Come to see the famous Little Golden Gate of Arkansas but stay to visit this old school general store! No matter if you’re just coming to snap a quick picture or staying the night for a quiet getaway, the Beaver Town Inn is a charming stop indeed. Let’s take a look around this historic business:
North of Eureka Springs, nestled on the shores of Table Rock Lake, is the sleepy town of Beaver.
This may be one of our favorite towns for some relaxing scenic driving, especially if you're on a motorcycle! Most folks come here to photograph Beaver Bridge, more famously known as the Little Golden Gate of Arkansas. However, there's more than one reason to come to this little town.
Near the bridge is a historic stop you need to make during your journey.
What used to be Beaver Town Inn & Trading Post is still a historic treasure to discover. The general store has unfortunately closed, but the Inn, Side Bar, and HotBoxx WoodFire Pizza are still located here. The building was established by Wilson Ashbury Beaver, the namesake of the town, in 1901. It's rumored that General Sterling Price and his officers stayed at the trading post after their retreat from the Battle of Pea Ridge but that's more hearsay than concrete fact.
Come to Beaver for the bridge but stay for lunch and the charm of the Inn.
Side Bar, the business on the lower floor, has all sorts of sips including local craft beer and even adult ice pops! Have a bite from the food truck too; their Greek Pizza is simply divine!
Nibble and sip shoreside while watching serene Table Rock floating by.
The kitchen was recently renovated, too! Enjoy some family time by breaking out the kitchen's bread machine or do some serious cooking for your motorcycle crew. The sitting room has a cozy soapstone wood-burning stove that's perfect for chilly days.
We love visiting Beaver for an afternoon tour, but for longer stays, you should check into the Inn!
