14 Places In Arkansas Where You Can Pick Your Own Delicious Food
If you’re more interested in picking your produce from a tree than buying it at just the grocery store, you’ll be quite interested in these awesome Arkansas farms! Not only do they offer pick-your-own produce each season throughout the year, but many of these farms hold very cool fall activities for families to have a good time!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. 14. Fenton's Berry Farm
Located in Harrison, this farm has everything from asparagus to pumpkins. Fenton's Berry Farm also offers school tours and space for birthday parties - contact the farm at 870-741-9607 and plan a visit!
13. BoBrook Farms
This farm in Roland offers pumpkin picking as well as blueberries and blackberries when in season. Birthday parties and school tours are welcome. Call ahead at 501-519-5666 and plan a visit!
12. Suzanne's Fruit Farm
The big"Fall Fun in the Country" festival takes place soon, so call ahead for reservations at (870) 798-4975! Crops at this Hampton farm are available from June to October.
11. Appel Farms
This Springdale farm offers pumpkins and winter squash that make a perfect addition to your kitchen this fall. Call ahead at 479-770-3602!
10. Cadron Crest Orchard
Availability of produce is dependent on the time of the year at this orchard located at Highway 25 North in Guy; be sure to call in advance at 501-679-3243 before your visit. Apples are in season until mid-October.
9. Creekside Farm
If you're looking for pecans, this is the spot! Located in Morrilton, Creekside Farm has pick-your-own pecans available throughout November. Pickers can even have their pecans cracked on-site for a fee! Call ahead for more information: 501-208-7472.
8. Cox Berry Farm
Pick a pumpkin from a patch in the field at this Clarksville farm! Mini pumpkins and apples are also available here. Be sure to call ahead of your visit at 479-754-3707.
7. All Good Things Produce and More
This Bauxite farm runs from June to October and has a large selection of crops including apples, corns, pecans, and more. Call ahead at 501-317-0045 for time information before your visit!
6. Arkansas Culinary Herb and Produce Farm/Stowe Market Garden
Be sure to call ahead at 720-367-1305 or 870-247-1205 before you go - this Jefferson County farm is located on 1413 Stowe Road and offers a seasonal variety of vegetables such as cucumbers, carrots, eggplant, summer squash, and winter squash. Herbs and spices are available here as well!
5. McGarrah Farms
Located in Pea Ridge, this farm is on 14804 Miser Road. Pumpkin picking is available as well as school tours and party planning; the farm has two separate areas so be sure to call ahead (479-451-8164)
4. Schaeffer's Corn Maze/Corn Maze at Lollie
Located in Mayflower at 863 Lollie Road, this farm offers a great pick-your-own pumpkin patch this time of year as well as various mazes for visitors to enjoy and hay rides. Call 501-269-7903 for more information!
3. Cherokee Farms
Pick from the pumpkin patch at this farm or get your holiday season started early by getting yourself a new Christmas wreath or decorations. Located in Houston on Hartman Lane, Cherokee Farms always has activities going on and crops are usually available from May to October. Call 501-759-2266 for more farm information!
2. Drewry Farm and Orchards
Located in Dover, this farm is open seasonally from 8 am to 8 pm and from 1 to 5 on Sundays. Apples, pumpkins, honey from hives, and much more is available here - even school tours! Call ahead at 479-331-2987 and plan your trip!
1. Dickey Farms
Located in Springdale on Wildcat Creek Road, Dickey Farms offers pumpkin picking from October until the first of November. Tours of the whole farm are also available. Call and plan your visit at 479-361-9975!
