The Gigantic Candy Store In Arkansas You’ll Want To Visit Over And Over Again
You don’t need a golden ticket to enter into one of Arkansas’ most beloved chocolate shops. Kopper Kettle Candies is absolutely brimming with delicious treats. Let’s let our inner child run wild as we peruse the shelves, cases, and displays filled with candy.
It may not be in a huge warehouse, but Kopper Kettle Candies has enough sweets and treats to keep you munching for a full year.
The Greer family has been serving their indulgent treats since 1925. Kopper Kettle Candies has two locations: 6300 Alma Hwy., Van Buren, AR 72956 and 4300 Rogers Ave #58, Fort Smith, AR 72903. Today we're strolling around the Van Buren location, but they're both great places to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Find every flavor imaginably along their rainbow wall of jelly beans.
Jelly bean, licorice, caramels, and "unbearably" hot cinnamon bears are just some of the candies you'll find in the store.
Spoil your sweetheart for Valentine's Day — or any day, for that matter.
Most locals bring their chocolate heart boxes in every year to be refilled. The Musgroves have been refilling their box for more than 60 years!
Springtime brings the chocolate-covered strawberries that you'll want to buy by the bushel.
The tasty strawberries are made from the end of March through May. Be quick though, they usually sell out before the day is through.
They have a succulent orchard-worth of candied apples.
The famed Karmel Apples are a seasonal special for fall and come in every decadent drizzle and topping you could ever want.
The cases upon cases of fudge and truffles are available year round.
Taffy, divinity, pralines, truffles, and fudge — you'll want to get one of everything. The Ozarkies are one of our favorite things. They're a perfect layered mix of dark and milk chocolate, pecans, and a vanilla cream center. Kopper Kettle does have non-chocolate and sugar-free options, too.
No matter how old you are, you'll feel like a kid in a candy store when you're at Kopper Kettle.
