This Restored Gothic Church In Arkansas Is Now An Incredible Restaurant You Have To Visit
Don’t you love finding new things in unexpected places? The joy of discovery is just as exciting as the attraction itself. The Preacher’s Son is a fabulous restaurant based on food alone, but paired with the unbelievable setting, it’s downright divine. Let’s take a peek at what’s become of this restored Gothic church.
This is the oldest church in Bentonville, the First Christian Church.
It was built in 1904 as part of the Gothic Revivalism spreading throughout the west.
The church has gone through extensive renovations and reopened as The Preacher's Son earlier this year.

The whole menu is completely filled with locally sourced selections.
The menu is seasonal to ensure the freshest of ingredients, like for this Tuna Poke Salad.
Start with a shareable for lunch.

Gaze longingly at this beautiful bar.
Part of the redesign included a champagne gold brick bar. For some reason a wet bar wasn't part of the original 1900s church blueprint.
Bond with friends on the rooftop bar.
Or hangout at the more intimate lounge residing beneath the restaurant. The Undercroft Bar is open Monday through Saturday from 5 PM to 2 AM.
It may be hard to take your eyes off the food but the restaurant's aesthetic will keep you mesmerized.
There's a grid of 288, 5" gold bells in the tower and windows filled with art glass. The glass was designed by George Dombek, a nationally recognized master of watercolor.
This is one restaurant that should definitely make your bucket list.
The Preacher's Son is located at 201 NW A Street in Bentonville.
