You’ll Feel Inspired At These 9 Breathtaking Bluffs In Arkansas
Arkansas’ natural beauty is awe-inspiring no matter where you look. From iconic must-visits to tucked away gems, these bluffs are simply gorgeous. Let’s be blown away at these breathtaking bluffs.

1. King's Bluff - Sand Gap
We'll begin our overlook outings with the king of all bluffs. King's Bluff is a moderate 1.8-mile loop that is perfect for primitive camping. Be sure to visit the neighboring Pedestal Loop Trail for some more great views as well as interesting rock formations. King's Bluff is located at AR-16, Witts Springs, AR 72686
2. Mossy Bluff Buckeye Trail - Heber Springs
For a more unique overlook, take the Mossy Bluff Buckeye Trail. It's a moderate 1.8-mile loop that's filled with great views of the river. You can reach this nature trail at 700 Heber Springs Rd. N, Heber Springs, AR 72543.
3. North Rim Trail - Paris
Everyone needs to hike Mount Magazine at least once a year. It's an iconic Arkansas gem that never ceases to be awe-inspiring. The North Rim Trail is a moderate 4.2-mile hike with fantastic bluff overlooks. The state park is located at 16878 Hwy 309 S, Paris, AR 72855.
4. White Rock Rim Trail - Winslow
The views are endless along the White Rock Rim Trail. The moderate 2-mile loop feels like an enchanted forest before it opens up to the scenic bluffs. White Rock Mountain Recreation Area is located at 217 Bowles Gap Rd., Winslow, AR 72959.
5. Crack in the Rock Trail - Van Buren
For a more modest (but by no means lacking) hike, take the family to the Crack in the Rock Trail. This 1.8-mile loop takes hikers to a stunning overlook of Lee Creek. All along the trail are interesting rock formations including a large "crack." The Lee Creek Rec Area is located at 3808 Gelly Dr., Van Buren, AR 72956.
6. Goat Trail - Compton

7. Poker Bluff Trail - Eureka Springs
If the sheer bluffs are keeping you from taking the whole family on a hike, the try out the Poker Bluff Trail. This kid-friendly hike is an easy .6-mile jaunt with baby bluffs that still have a great view. The trail is located at 264 Golden Gate, Eureka Springs, AR 72631.
8. Yellow Rock Trail - West Fork
Yellow Rock Trail has no shortage of panoramic beauty along the 2.7-mile loop. Committing to a sunrise hike will help avoid the crowds at the popular bluff trail. Yellow Rock is part of Devil's Den State Park, which is located at 11333 AR-74, West Fork, AR 72774.
9. Whitaker Point Trail - Deer
No bluff list would be complete without Hawksbill Crag. The 2.9-mile trail is a top spot for inspiring everything from selfies to proposals. The trail is located at Co Rd. 5, Kingston, AR 72742.
