Pie. We all love it (maybe a little too much) any season of the year, but there’s something about the autumn season that brings out the pie-lover in a lot of us. Locals around the Natural State who know their way around a kitchen start making delicious sweet potato pies or pecan pies and before you know it, it’s a pie-filled holiday season. These spots around Arkansas are the best when it comes to one of our favorite desserts!

27. Nick's Barbecue and Catfish
Nick's, located in Carlisle, serves delicious catfish and ribs, but save room for dessert! Try the peanut butter pie or one of the assorted flavors of fried pies.
26. Cafe 1217
The desserts are made from scratch at this Hot Springs restaurant located at 1217 Malvern Avenue. Pies can be specially ordered.
25. Shangri-La Resort and Marina
Not only can you have a luxurious stay at this Mount Ida resort, but the pies there are just as fabulous as the beautiful surroundings.
24. Red Rooster Bistro
Located in Fort Smith at 4620 Rogers Avenue, the Red Rooster Bistro serves awesome pie among other excellent dishes.
23. Catalpa Cafe and General Store
Located in the small town of Ozone, the Catalpa Cafe has great southern dishes and is well known for delicious homemade lemon, coconut cream, chocolate cream, apple, cherry, peach and pecan pies.
22. My Cafe at the Bluffs
Visitors love the food and the atmosphere of this Lowell restaurant at 12737 Hickory Creek Road. Enjoy a great meal and stay for an excellent piece of pie!
21. Bobby's Country Cookin'
Coconut cream pie and chocolate pie are on the dessert menu at this Little Rock restaurant on North Shackleford Road, and the pies are done right!
20. Godsey's Grill
Diners rave over the burgers at Godsey's Grill in Jonesboro, but the pies are worth a shout out as well!
19. Big Springs Trading Company Restaurant
This old-fashioned St. Joe restaurant is located near the Buffalo River and specializes in meats, but the desserts shouldn't be ignored. Try the blueberry pie when available!
18. Chip's Barbecue
Chip's in Little Rock has an appetizing variety of pie flavors - you can treat yourself to a classic chocolate pie with whipped cream or get really flavorful with a piece of banana nut pie!
17. Franke's Cafeteria West
Hooray for Franke's! If you're a Little Rock native, chances are you've enjoyed a wonderful meal here...but have you tried the egg custard pie? The brownie pie is divine, too!
16. Mama Max's Diner
Located in Prescott at 1102 West Main Street, Mama Max's Diner specializes in amazing soul food. Try the pecan pie for dessert!
15. Three Sams Barbecue
This local legend in Mabelvale always has a hungry crowd. Three Sams Barbecue is at 10508 Mann Road, right across from the train tracks.

If you're looking for an excellent fried peach or apple pie, look no further than Lindsey's in North Little Rock!
13. Wagon Wheel Country Cafe
Located at 4080 North Thompson Street in Springdale, pie-lovers can also enjoy other great southern dishes at the Wagon Wheel.

To be exact, Patty's is in Royal at 6920 Albert Pike Road - the burgers here are excellent, but the pies are absolutely a must-try!
11. Pickens Restaurant and Commisary
Among the delicious homemade desserts served at this popular Pickens establishment include coconut cream, chocolate, strawberry, and pecan pies.
Located at 813 East Michigan Street in Stuttgart, Dew-Baby's serves delicious soul food along with pie so tasty that you'll be planning a second trip very soon.
9. Rhoda's Famous Hot Tamales
Not only does Rhoda serve some of the best tamales you'll find, but the pies at this little Lake Village restaurant are just as delicious!
8. Big John's Shake Shack
Get to Big John's in Marion (on 409 East Military Road) when you want to satisfy your sweet tooth with a slice of pie served with ice cream. Whole pies are available for purchase as well.
7. Boo's Bulldog Diner
Located at 3 South Main Street in Greenwood, this family restaurant has a fun atmosphere and is known for burgers, but the delicious pies here are worth a try as well.
6. The Backyard Barbecue Company
The pies are just as well known as the barbecue at this amazing Magnolia eatery.
An Arkansas institution, Cotham's in Scott not only serves legendary burgers, but the desserts are just as amazing. Diners have a choice of apple, apricot, cherry, peach, or chocolate fried pies!
4. Ms. Lena's Pie Shop
If you head out to DeValls Bluff on a Saturday you'll be lucky to get yourself a fried pie at Ms. Lena's! A great variety of pie flavors are available, and special orders can be done on any day of the week.
3. Family Pie Shop
Everybody - and I do mean everybody - has something good to say about the Family Pie Shop behind Craig's BBQ out in DeValls Bluff. Despite it being off the beaten path, you'd swear you'd driven off to paradise.

The coconut pie at Charlotte's has the honor of being selected as one of the top pies in the South by Southern Living Magazine readers - that lets you know how much you need to try this little shop in Keo!
