AQ Chicken House has been serving up delicious fried chicken since 1947. You'll find the restaurant at 1207 N. Thompson Street in Springdale.

The traditional, pan-fried chicken is what made this restaurant famous. It's fried up in a cast iron skillet and seasoned to perfection.

The traditional fried chicken isn't the only favorite dish here. You've got to try the chicken fried chicken with country gravy; the boneless chicken breast is tender and juicy and the rich, creamy gravy complements it perfectly.

AQ Chicken House also has another special chicken recipe: Chicken Over The Coals. It's seasoned with a lemon pepper mix and tastes like it came right from your bbq grill to the table.

You won't feel like you have room for dessert, but you'll want to order it anyway. The homemade blackberry cobbler or "Ozark chocolate mess" are well worth it.
