Making gingerbread houses is a quintessential Christmastime activity, and when an entire town comes together to build a village of them, the result is truly incredible. All December long, the world's largest gingerbread village will be on display in the lobby of the Prescott Resort & Conference Center. It's the most whimsical thing you'll do this holiday season! Come see what this Christmas city in Arizona is really like!

Prescott is the official "Christmas Town" in Arizona for several reasons, including all of the festive activities and thousands of lights strung up around town.

The sweetest reason of all, however, happens to be much lesser-known.

Not everyone knows this, but the world's largest gingerbread village is located right here in Prescott!

It's in the lobby of the Prescott Resort & Conference Center, and anyone is welcome to stop by and admire the incredible artistry.

Each holiday season, over 1,000 gingerbread houses are intricately designed by local businesses.

Each one is carefully placed into the village, and prizes are awarded to the top contestants.

You'll see miniature versions of everything from elementary schools to the police and fire stations.

The craziest part? Everything is edible!

The motto is "It takes a village to make a village," and those words couldn't ring truer.

In the true spirit of Christmas, everyone pitches together to bring the village to life each year.
