If you're looking for a unique (and affordable) camping experience, this vacation home rental in Cornville, Arizona can't be beat. Not quite camping, yet not quite "glamping," this charming, open-air shed offers some creature comforts while still offering a "real" camping experience. Come experience the great outdoors and enjoy some peace and quiet.
Welcome to your new favorite escape!
Half campsite and half "glampsite," this charming vacation rental near Oak Creek in Cornville offers the best of both worlds, so you can rough it in style.
The campsite (which consists of an old shed with a tent inside) is just a stone's throw away from Sedona and Jerome, yet it feels extremely remote and secluded.
Fully open window frames (no screens) offer unobstructed views of the beautiful surroundings.
Sleeping up to four guests, the shed features an indoor tent with a queen-size bed inside, plus two adult cots.
There is no electricity, running water, or air conditioning/heat. You'll want to bring your own linens, as only mattresses are provided by the hosts.
Outside the shed is a private port-a-potty with a small hand washing station.
It's definitely rustic, but sometimes, the best part of a camping trip is stepping outside of your comfort zone and challenging yourself to forgo modern luxuries.
Other amenities include a propane cooktop and firepit, two folding chairs and tables, and an additional table with four seats.
You'll feel like there's no one else on earth when you sit out here around the campfire and watch the setting sun paint a lovely picture on the canvas that is the sky.
Not only is this property unique and located in a gorgeous setting, but it's also very affordable (less than $100 per night!).
It's also just a short drive from top-notch hiking trails, waterfalls, and a winery, so you definitely get a lot of "bang for your buck."
