This is one of the lovely Verde Valley towns that made our list and what a sight it is. The Verde River runs through the east side of town, borders a couple of parks, and the area looks so beautiful and green! Most businesses and inns are located a short walk from the river and Blazin’ M Ranch sits right at its banks.

If you’ve never been to Greer, you’re missing out! This tiny town is a lovely travel destination throughout the year and you’ll find plenty of water from the Little Colorado River and adjacent ponds for your summer activities. It’s perfect if you love fishing, kayaking, or just sitting out by the water. You’ll also find that many of the lodges and resorts sit right up against the river, giving you ready access to the beautiful sight.

Did you know Lake Havasu City was named one of the top waterfront towns in the country? The city sits right along the Colorado River, which is its primary recreation area. The London Bridge sits here next to restaurants and shops while white sand beaches line the shore.
