You Are Going To Love Arizona’s First Mac And Cheese Festival
Arizona’s traditional food culture is best known for some mighty tasty Sonoran Mexican food but the foodie scene has been slowly evolving over the years to include a wide variety of other cuisines. While our state may not be the birthplace of macaroni and cheese, we do have some restaurants that feature delicious renditions of the comfort food. If you love digging into a bowl of this creamy, savory dish, then you will love attending one incredibly unique food festival next month.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
Mac and Cheese Fest is a one-of-a-kind festival that will host the Valley's very best of this comfort food dish. Be sure you arrive with an empty belly!
Hosted at the Scottsdale Waterfront on October 7, you'll get to watch cooking demonstrations, check out cooking competitions with seasoned chefs and amateur cooks, and enjoy some incredible interpretations of the dish.
And some unique flavor combinations that make eating mac and cheese a whole new experience, like this pimento mac from Two Brothers Tap House & Brewery in Scottsdale.
Mac and Cheese Fest will take place on Saturday, October 7 at the Scottsdale Waterfront, located at 7134 East Stetson Drive in Scottsdale. You can find details about the event and purchase tickets on their website or Facebook page.
