If you find the moon half as magical as we do, there’s a celestial event later this month you absolutely can’t miss. The last super moon of 2021, known as the Strawberry Moon, will rise over the Arizona sky on the night of June 24, and it promises to be an awe-inspiring spectacle.

If you thought last month's total lunar eclipse was neat, just wait until you see what June has in store.

On the 24 of this month, the Full Strawberry Moon will illuminate the night sky and make for a truly enchanting scene.
The moon is set to reach peak fullness at around 1 p.m. MST, which means the sun will obscure our view.

Don't fret, though - it'll still look plenty full that night and the evening before!
One of the most incredible things about this particular moon is that it's a "Super Moon."

Super moons are full moons that coincide with perigee, or the closest the moon comes to the earth in its orbit. This results in a larger-than-usual full moon.
