All yurts are within a 2-mile hike from the visitor center, so they are easily accessible for all skill levels.
The yurts are open year-round, and just as beautiful in the winter as in the summer.
Two yurts sleep six people, and one sleeps only four.
If you have the maximum amount of people allowed in the yurt, then 1-2 people will need to sleep on the floor. There are tables and chairs or benches that offer plenty of seating.
The yurts all include a wood stove and plenty of firewood located nearby.
There's a bear-resistant locker storage for your food. All the yurts have a water source nearby, although it does require purification. Pets are allowed, but no bicycles, ATV's or snow-machines.
They even have a rustic cabin for rent.
The cabin is called Paradise Haven Cabin, and sleeps eight people. This cabin is only 1.5 miles from the visitor center, and has a spacious covered porch that you can sit on to enjoy the view.
You can rent any of these awesome yurts or the cabin for $85.00 a night for non-members of the Eagle River Nature Center.
For members, they can rent a yurt for $75. The price includes parking for up to four cars in the parking lot of the visitor's center.
