The Carter Lake Trail Will Take You To A Secret Lake In The Mountains Of Alaska

High up in the mountains of the Chugach National Forest is a beautiful lake that you’ll want to see up close and personal. The Carter Lake Trail winds through some of Alaska’s prettiest backcountry on the Kenai Peninsula. The trailhead is located just outside of Moose Pass, and the hike is short but challenging enough to entice every skill level.
