And even though all of Alabama’s state parks are beautiful and worthy of a visit, there’s something incredibly special about Oak Mountain State Park. A large component of what makes Oak Mountain State Park incredibly special is its size. At nearly 10,000 acres, it’s Alabama’s largest state park.
