The Kreher Preserve & Nature Center is a nature preserve that's located in Auburn, Alabama. It was donated to Auburn University's School of Forestry & Wildlife Sciences in 1993 by Dr. Louise Kreher Turner, a former professor.
The preserve offers nature education, outdoor recreation, and is an overall great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings of nature for a day.
While exploring this 120-acre nature preserve, you'll discover lots of beautiful natural features, including Turtle Pond and...
...Hidden Falls. Both of these natural features help make the preserve what it is today.
For those of you who enjoy hiking, the Kreher Preserve & Nature Center offers 30 hiking trails that cover more than five miles.
There's also the Nature Playground, which features equipment made from wood. Children of all ages enjoy this unique playground.
