Indiana may not be the first state you think of when you think of beach towns, since we aren’t on the coast. However, our beaches along Lake Michigan are stunning enough to rival some of the best beach towns, including this little town that may be one of the coolest in the country.
One of the coolest places in Indiana is undoubtedly the beachtown of WInona Lake. This quaint small town is full of waterside attractions, local shops, and incredible attractions.
Of course, Winona Lake is most famous for its gorgeous lakefront attractions like swimming, boating, and fishing.

The canal at Winona Lake offers a scenic place to walk (or boat) along, as well as many small shops and eateries to check out along the way.

You can also enjoy a leisurely afternoon of biking, while checking out unique sculptures and works of local art.
