Sunday afternoon might just be the best part of the week. It’s not quite time for that panic of “I have to get ready for work tomorrow!” and you’ve probably got some of your most heinous weekend chores completed by then. So, how is the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Utah? Here are a few suggestions.
Visit Hardware Ranch and go on a hayride to feed the 600 or so elk that call the ranch home every winter. Open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Sunday. MM 22 SR-101, Blacksmith Fork Canyon, Hyrum.
The 12-mile auto tour loop is open every day of the year, from sunrise to sundown. Sunday is a quiet day to visit, and you're sure to see some beautiful feathered friends.

I'd rather scrub grout in my bathroom than go to IKEA on a Saturday (or a Tuesday, when kids eat free in the restaurant and every toddler in three counties is there). But on Sunday, it's pure bliss. Wander through IKEA's isles, dreaming of that new bedroom or kitchen. Or, just head straight for the restaurant for some Swedish meatballs.

From June through September, head to Park City's Main Street for the Park Silly Sunday Market. You'll find fresh produce, local crafts and plenty of entertainment.
The aquarium is open seven days a week. Walk through the 40-foot shark tunnel, see the otters frolic and play, and watch the penguins have a snack at 4:00 p.m. Visit on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 12033 S. Lone Peak Pkwy., Draper.
The George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park is closed on Sundays in the winter, but you can visit on Sunday afternoons starting in April. The dinos got facelifts last spring, so they're ready for more visitors. 1544 Park Blvd., Ogden.
The zoo is open to the public every day except Christmas and New Year's Day. Bundle up in the winter and visit from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; in the summer, the zoo stays open until 6:00 p.m.
