Some things about Delaware are just too weird for words, and we keep strange traditions and take pride in some interesting things! That’s part of the charm of the first state, though: all of the things we experience while enjoying our time in Delaware. If you're from Delaware, you probably make fun of it pretty often. Whether it's the fact that it's tiny, or rural, or that New Castle County thinks it's a whole 'nothing land (or because Slower Lower IS a whole 'nother land), it's easy to pick on the first state. So it might surprise you when some out-of-stater takes a stab at the First State and you find yourself jumping up to say "Hey, it's not that bad!"

Was it earlier this year, when thousands of pennies spilled all over the road? Or was it the chickens, just a few months ago? What about when millions of bees shut down the highway? Or when you had to drive slowly through Odessa to avoid running over that loose Emu?
