Stretched across nearly 17,000 acres in Portersville, Moraine State Park promises plenty of outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and camping. However, the masterpiece of the park is undoubtedly Lake Arthur.

Lake Arthur boasts the bluest water in Pennsylvania and provides the ideal setting for water activities, including swimming. Two sand beaches sit along Lake Arthur. Pleasant Valley Beach spans 1,200 feet while Lakeview Beach is considerably smaller at 550 feet.

Launch your sailboat or motorboat from one of ten public boat launches positioned around the lake. Motorboats are permitted as long as you can provide proof of registration and the motor may be no larger than 20hp.
