Those interested in shelling will be happy to hear that the position of Bulls Island in the Atlantic magically makes the island attract tons of conch shells. Visitors usually find them all over the beach.
The biggest drawback to Bulls Island is also its' strongest quality: it's undeveloped and only reachable by boat. The are no bridges to this island.

If you don't have your own vessel, then book a ride over through the Bulls Island Ferry, operated by Coastal Expeditions. The ferry drops you at a dock where you'll have to walk approximately a mile from the dock on the backside of the island over to the beach.
But Coastal Expeditions has another tour that drops you right on the beach.

The Bulls Island Beach Drop doesn't run every day because it relies on specific tide schedules that allow the boat to get right up on the sandy shore for the drop off and pick up.

If it's the pristine beach that interests you, then you'll definitely want to schedule the Beach Drop tour.

Keep in mind, this tour isn’t for everyone. There are no facilities at the beach and no shade. You’ll be here for several hours before the boat takes you back to your car. But if you’re seeking a secluded pristine beach in South Carolina, you won’t find another quite like this one.
