There are a couple of crossings to be aware of during your time on the Blackland Prairie Trail. Be wary of the railroad crossing located north of Chickasaw Village. Look both ways before crossing.

Located at milepost 264.5 and US 178, crossing at milepost 262.5 is a creek crossing. You will have to walk up the parkway and follow the road’s shoulder.
There are a few areas on the trail as well that would lead you to different hiking sections as well.
