Christmas In Arkansas

What are some of the best Christmas towns in Arkansas?

Christmas in these 10 Arkansas towns looks like something from a Hallmark movie. Here are a few highlights.

  • Batesville (1850 Chaney Drive): See more than one million festive lights as this town transforms into the White River Wonderland. Drive through this magical land to enjoy the hundreds of displays. This event warms your heart and welcomes the season with bright colors. Take a carriage ride or a trip on the White River Wonderland Express train. And you'll feel like a star on the ice-skating rink all lit up like a stage.
  • Fayetteville (Downtown Square): No detail is spared from this city's Christmas celebration. From the fantastic light displays to a parade, and a visit from Santa, the holiday spirit is alive and well. The lovebirds can create a romantic memory in a horse-drawn carriage, and for adventure enthusiasts, how does a helicopter tour above the lights sound? Opening night kicks off with a festive parade offering homemade floats and a visit from a reindeer.
  • Eureka Springs (75 Prospect Ave): Every year the Eureka Springs Christmas Festival rings in the holiday with reckless abandon. The decorated Victorian-era buildings and other Christmas light displays welcome warm and sentimental feelings. Take in the sparkling Parade of Lights, the Great Passion Play, and a Christmas tree forest at the Crescent Hotel & Spa. And the generous business owners who decorate their storefronts with living windows are other hallmarks of the season.
