You'll start your adventure on a gravel path alongside Bayou Coquille.

Flanked by beautiful palmettos and cypress trees, it's easily one of the most scenic trails near New Orleans.

Be sure to check out the interpretive signs along the way.

The trail makes a turn, and that's when things really open up.

The Spanish moss swaying in the breeze, the songbirds chirping overhead, and the emerald green waters are almost too stunning to be real.

At the end of the trail, you'll have a breathtaking tree-top view of the canal below.
