If you’re looking for an easy stroll with stunning mountain views, the Point Bridget Trail outside of Juneau, Alaska delivers on both counts. Mountains rise up from sea level to touch the skies around you, and the trail ends at the stunning Point Bridget. This is an easy hike that you should make time for during your next trip to Juneau!
This beautiful park is located on the Lynn Canal. The park is made up of many types of terrain, including muskeg, forest, grassland, and the mountains that surround this state park.
It's an easy trail, with less than 300 feet elevation gain all the way out to the point and back. This is a popular trail for families and people of all skill levels. Even in the forested areas, you'll see peek-a-boo views of the nearby mountain tops.

Wear boots, however, as some parts of the trail without boardwalks can become muddy during rainy times. Keep a good lookout, as moose frequent the area!

You will have a great panoramic view of the entire bay, including the mountains that surround the bay. Depending on the season, they'll be green, dusted with snow, or completely draped in white.

There is plenty of parking available at the trailhead. If you want to make it an extended trip, make sure to rent one of three beautiful cabins inside the state park! Make sure to revel in the mountainous views around you, and relax in one of the prettiest spots in this part of the state.
