Zeppole Baking Co. is a favorite among locals for their delicious breads and sandwiches, and it’s during this time of year that they really amp things up. Zeppole Baking Co. is a charming little bakeshop located at two locations in Boise, Idaho. Initially opened in 1993, they've become a go-to spot for fresh baked bread, pastries, and other delicious treats.
Zeppole was created in order to start serving handcrafted and artisan breads to the Boise area. Among their most famous breads are the Zeppole Ciabatta, Village Loaf, Sourdough Bâtard, Challah, and Irish Soda Bread.
However, there's one type of bread that is particularly popular: Pumpkin Bread! Offered only throughout select months of the year, usually starting in September, Zeppole's mouthwatering pumpkin bread is always worth the wait.
Both their famous Pumpkin Bread and Banana Bread are handcrafted locally using only the finest ingredients, including real pumpkins and bananas. The beauty of this sweet loaf is in its simplicity, and it makes for a delightful treat during this time of year.
On top of functioning as a bakery, Zeppole also operates a cafe out of each of their shops. Here you can indulge in tasty, freshly-made sandwiches on their famous bread, including classic deli, hot, and breakfast sandwiches.
