Upon first glance, it’s pleasantly straightforward why this waterfall park in West Virginia is easily one of the best (and among the most hidden) waterfall parks in the Mountain State. Valley Falls is located along the Tygart River outside of Fairmont and features a set of never-ending cascading waterfalls that meander through the valley for a half mile.

Cold weather visits bring what seems to be exceptionally blue water on the park's most prominent set of cascades which span the entire width of the river.
