Utahns just can’t get enough milkshakes. Pretty much every burger joint in the Beehive State serves up thick, creamy shakes, and you could probably spend years trying them all. There’s a little gem in Sugarhouse that often gets overlooked, but the shakes there are almost too wonderful to be real. Check out Millie’s Burgers:
Millie's Burgers has been around for almost four decades, so if you grew up in the Sugarhouse area, you may remember this place from your childhood. It's located at 2092 S. 1000 E., Salt Lake City, UT 84105.
This place hasn't changed much at all since it opened. It still boasts the same menu board, and though the prices have gone up a bit over the years, the food is all still made fresh.
Millie's is tiny, with just a few booths inside, and a few picnic tables outside. No worries - you're not here for the ambiance - you're here for the marvelous shakes and tasty food.
With more than three dozen flavors to choose from, you'll want to come back again and again to try them all. Just bring your appetite, because it's a lot of ice cream for one person.
What are you waiting for? We're surprised that you're not already at Millie's waiting in line for a shake. The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
