You may know the Blackstone District in Omaha as the birthplace of both the Reuben sandwich and butter brickle ice cream. The neighborhood has experienced a rapid revitalization in the past decade or so, and today it’s a foodie’s dream. One of the Blackstone District’s most notable restaurants is a relative newcomer called The Blackstone Meatball.

The beautifully modern restaurant is located at 3910 Harney Street in Omaha.

You might wonder just how many ways a meatball could possibly be served.

The menu contains four standard types of meatballs and a rotating "special" selection, along with four standard sauces and one "special" sauce.

When you order, you also choose the style of your meal: a sub, a slider, or a bowl.

If you choose a bowl, you also get to pick what goes under the meatballs: pasta, waffle fries, roasted veggies, salad, cheddar grits, and more.
