Since people in Vermont know how to embrace the cold while appreciating the outdoors, Smugglers' Notch has created a winter walking program. Now you can get a new workout with a slower pace. This winter walk in VT is just one more reason why we love it at Smuggs!

The folks at Smuggs have developed a winter walking program to introduce weather walking techniques. No special skills required!
1. Explore the Notch Walk.
These intermediate walks are every Sunday & Friday from 10:15 am - 12:00 noon. You'll travel through the pass and learn about its rich history as a smuggling route and its unique geological formations.
2. Winter Walking Village Introduction Walk.
An easy walk every Monday 10:15 am - 12:00 noon. The guide will introduce you to walking in the winter while you learn about what the resort has to offer and explore the village. You'll love the beautiful scenery, fresh air and great company as you get some exercise!
3. Reservoir Walk.
Another easy walk each Tuesday 10:15 am - 12:00 noon. You'll stroll along the river and enjoy the peace and quiet in the snowy woods.
4. Country Road Walk.
This Intermediate is offered every Wednesday & Saturday from 10:15 am - 12:00 noon. Everyone enjoys the serenity of this scenic country road which is off the beaten path.
5. Winter Wonderland Walk.
This intermediate walk is offered every Thursday 10:15 am - 12:00 noon.
You'll explore the woods as you travel along the trails and country roads. The mountain views on this walk are spectacular!
