This Little Water Park Has Been Entertaining Utahns For 50 Years And You’re Going To Want To Visit
We've been lucky over the last week or so to avoid those 100+ temps in northern Utah, but the hot summer weather is still in the high 80s - low 90s...it's HOT, Utah! Luckily, there's no shortage of places to cool off here, and there's one little water park that you'll find particularly charming.
Cherry Hill opened 50 years ago, and has been helping Utahns make memories ever since.
You'll find it at 1325 S. Main Street in Kaysville. The water park is open from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Saturday; closed Sunday.
With its two swimming pools and lazy river, it's the perfect place to cool off.
Enjoy a relaxing float on Grant's Gulch Lazy River, or take the more exciting Cardiac Canyon River Run, which has sudden drops, rapids, and water features guaranteed to soak and cool you off.
The 40-foot Pirate Ship has long been a favorite at Cherry Hill. Climb aboard and pretend that you're a pirate on the open sea.
The kids area around the pirate ship has plenty of water features and sprinklers to play in, and it's just a shallow area, perfect for kids of all ages to wade in.
The Junior Jungle Boats are a fun activity for the littlest folks in the family. You must be under 48" tall to enjoy these little boats.
Before or after your swim, enjoy a round of mini golf. The multi-themed course has 18 holes.
Hamster Haven will keep little ones entertained for hours with its ball pit, tunnels and climbing structures.
Get out of the sun for a bit and play Battlestar Blasters. It's similar to laser tag, but you'll blast your friends with hundreds of foam balls in this black-light attraction.
Check out Cherry Hill's Concert On The Hill Series. Different musicians play every Friday and Saturday night at 9 PM. The best part? It's free!
To extend your fun, camp overnight at Cherry Hill. Click here for details about camping. For more information about the park's amenities and pricing, visit Cherry Hill's website.
