Find The Perfect Place To Sprawl Out On 3 Miles Of Sandy Beach At Papohaku Beach In Hawaii

Papohaku Beach on Molokai is Hawaii's longest beach, offering 3 miles of secluded, white sandy shoreline perfect for relaxation.

While Hawaii is known for its over 700-miles of spectacular coastline, it can be hard to choose the perfect beach to sprawl out on and soak up the sun. This summer, head to Papohaku Beach on the western end of Molokai for the best spot to relax on the longest beach in our state. We'll bet you didn't know that one of the longest beaches could be found on one of the smallest islands, but at 3-miles of stunning sand, Papohaku Beach is one of the biggest and best. Next time you're on Molokai, make sure to carve out some time to relax upon Papohaku Beach.

Welcome to Papohaku Beach!

This secluded, white sandy beach is also known as "Three Mile Beach". This is because it's home 3-miles of warm, soft sand.

Papohaku Beach is located on the western side of Molokai, and most might not know this, but it's Hawaii's longest beach hiding upon this small island. It's also 100 yards wide, making for a stunning scene.

While there are tons of beaches to choose from on Hawaii's coastline, this one is the best for a long walk or to sprawl out upon, as the shorebreak can be quite dangerous if you were to get in.

This beach isn't protected by a reef, so it's not a great spot to get out on the water. Thankfully, you'll have 3 miles of sand to relax upon.

Another fun fact about Papohaku Beach is that it used to be home to a sand mining operation. There's so much history upon this shore, it's the perfect spot to sit and reflect.

Of course, this beach isn't just good for laying out. It also is home to campsites, showers, and restrooms, so you'll have all of the amenities you need.

If you're looking for a secluded beach to sprawl out upon, head to Molokai and find the perfect spot Papohaku Beach.
