Drone Footage Captured At This Abandoned Nashville Baseball Stadium Is Truly Grim

If you made your way out to visit the Nashville Sounds in the thirty-seven years from 1978 to 2014, then you most definitely enjoyed an afternoon at Greer Stadium. A local love, a favorite amongst natives, Greer Stadium holds the key to many childhood memories touched by baseball commentary, summer sun, and the smell of popcorn and hot dogs.

What’s so weird about that, you say?

Well. When the new Sounds stadium was built across down, just a hop from Germantown, Greer Stadium was abandoned to the elements. Completely closed, the once beloved stadium seating is sun faded and cracked, the windows broken and the field wildly worse for wear. This video is sure to make you wonder about those memories.
